Rediscover the joy of cooking with Chef Mike from 18 Reasons. It all starts with setting yourself up for success – and that means a healthy cook space that's safe to work in, that's conveniently organized, and that's easy to navigate.
Chef Mike will provide an overview of kitchen safety, review basic knife handling skills and present a treasure trove of tips and recommendations for making the most of what you have – regardless of your particular kitchen environment, your equipment or your physical limitations. About the Speaker: Mike Weller is a master chef and teacher at 18 Reasons, a community-focused culinary school based in San Francisco that offers a wide range of cooking classes & local events. Mike's illustrious culinary career includes stints at a number of world class restaurants. He's also a former instructor at the California Culinary Academy.
